A fire drill was held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the back garden of the Faculty of Forestry as part of the Emergency Action Plan, with the participation of academic and administrative staff and students. During the drill, participants were briefed on what to do in the event of a fire, the procedures to follow in emergencies, and the correct and safe use of firefighting equipment. While hands-on training on the use of fire extinguishers was provided, participants also practiced responding to a fire within a prepared scenario. The drill aimed to enable academic and administrative staff and students to act calmly, correctly, and quickly in the event of a possible fire, to use firefighting equipment effectively, and to be prepared for emergencies. Organized to raise awareness of fire safety, the drill was successfully completed following the participants' hands-on responses.
