Lecturer Hasan YILMAZ, Coordinator of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBÜ), gave a presentation on Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights as part of the R&D and Project Preparation Techniques training.
At the event, organized within the training program, Lecturer Hasan YILMAZ provided researchers and participants with critical information on protecting innovative ideas, patent, utility model, and trademark registration processes, and points to consider during the project development stage.
Commercialization and Protection of Ideas Discussed
The presentation emphasized the importance of turning the outputs of R&D projects into added value and securing intellectual products under legal protection. Lecturer Hasan YILMAZ stated that academics and students managing intellectual and industrial property rights correctly in the projects they develop will increase their competitiveness at both the national and international levels.
The presentation, which drew strong interest from participants, concluded with a Q&A session on the challenges encountered in project preparation processes and proposed solutions.
