Within the scope of Activity 1.2.1 of the 5th National Action Plan on Combating Violence Against Women (2026–2030) and Activity 1.2.1 of the Provincial Action Plan on Combating Violence Against Women, a training seminar was organized at our Faculty's Martyr Ömer Faruk Aydın Amphitheater by the Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, as part of the "Life Free from Violence Against Women Modular Seminar Program."
At the seminar, held with the participation of our Faculty's academic and administrative staff and students, the types of violence were explained through examples, and information was shared to raise awareness of violence against women. In addition, participants were informed about the institutions and organizations that can be approached in the process of combating violence, as well as the support mechanisms available.
We thank Bilgehan USCA for her informative presentation and valuable contributions on behalf of our Faculty.
