Isparta Bahçelievler Secondary School Principal Mustан GÜNGÖR, Vice Principal Güler KUNDURACI, English teacher Ülker ÖNER, music teacher Hande TUFANOĞLU, mathematics teacher Ali BAŞKAL, and 8th-grade students visited the Faculty of Forestry on May 13, 2026. Following a visit to the Dean's office, students gathered in the Ardıç classroom for an informative session on the structure of the Faculty of Forestry and the world of plants. After a presentation delivered by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi E. Hatice TIĞLI KAYTANLIOĞLU from the Department of Forest Botany, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Şükran OĞUZOĞLU from the Department of Forest Entomology and Protection provided students with insights into the world of insects and forest ecosystems.
The teachers and students also attended the opening ceremony of the Forest Games Olympiad, held on the same day as part of the visit, and watched the participants' fierce competition with great interest. In a space tent set up in the faculty garden, students experienced a unique view of the sky and received hands-on training in camping techniques from Doç. Dr. Yasin ÜNAL and Öğr. Gör. Mevlüt ZENBİLCİ, faculty members of the Department of Wildlife Ecology.
At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were presented to the teachers and various gifts were given to the students. The event was further enlivened by a live performance from the ISUBÜ Orchestra. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our esteemed teachers and students for their visit, and we would be delighted to welcome our students to our faculty in the future.
