Dr. Merve CAMBAZOĞLU, the instructor responsible for the Work-Based Learning (WBL) course in the Department of Forest Industry Engineering for the 2025–2026 Academic Year, conducted company visits in April and May to evaluate students' vocational training processes at their respective workplaces on-site. The company visits in Isparta were carried out together with Assoc. Prof. Tuğba YILMAZ AYDIN, while the visits to companies in Bursa were conducted together with Research Assistant Uğur ÖZKAN.

Within the scope of the visits, meetings were held with Forest Industry Engineer İbrahim DEĞER at ORMA, Board Chairman Ahmet ÖZÇELİK and Forest Industry Engineer Elif MÜLAZIM at PEKSAN, Quality and Sustainability Manager Batuhan GİREYHAN at Saloni Mobilya, Production Manager Ömer TEYRAN and Human Resources Specialist Muhammet KÜÇÜKALTUN at NDesign, and Forest Industry Engineer Göksel ARSEL at Button Led. Certificates of appreciation were presented to all representatives in recognition of their support to our department throughout the WBL process.

During the meetings, information was gathered regarding students' work processes, the departments they were assigned to, their professional gains, and their adaptation to the workplace environment. Discussions were also held on strengthening university–industry collaboration and on ways to conduct the Work-Based Learning program more efficiently.
