As the Faculty of Forestry, we participated with a large delegation in the "Orman Benim" event organized by Orman Genel Müdürlüğü Isparta Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü on May 18, 2026, at Gölcük Tabiat Parkı. The event was attended by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Alkan, Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Yasin Karatepe and Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Yazıcı, academic staff members Prof. Dr. Mehmet Korkmaz, Öğr. Gör. Süleyman Uysal, Arş. Gör. Uğur Özkan, Arş. Gör. Burak Koparan, and Arş. Gör. Nazlı Öğüt, as well as students from the Forest Engineering and Forest Industry Engineering programs.
The event aimed to raise awareness on the prevention of forest fires, reduce fire risk, and promote public consciousness on the matter. Held in a warm and productive atmosphere, the event drew attention to the importance of love for nature and environmental awareness.
