On April 20, 2026, second-year students from the Department of Forest Engineering traveled to Antalya for the Gymnospermae course field application. Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Dutkuner, the program focused on the identification and introduction of various tree species found throughout Antalya, with a particular emphasis on exotic taxa.
The itinerary included visits to Kurşunlu Waterfall, Düden Waterfall, Atatürk Park, and the Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry. The application provided students with the opportunity to observe dendrological characteristics in situ and expand their botanical knowledge.
